Lost begins with a tragic plane crash in the South Pacific, where there are many Dead and injured. The doctor Jack shepherd is the center and leader of a disoriented group of people on the desert island. After the survivors wait a long time for RESCUE, Most of them find themselves away with the fact that rescue on the exotic island in the middle of nothing is not imminent. There are strange raids on the group, which turns out over time as attacks by another group of people, the ‘others’. The’ others ‘ in Lost have long been living as an organized, sectarian-like group on the island.
In addition to the current plot on the island, Lost repeatedly shows in retrospect the lives of the survivors before they climbed the plane. Often, an episode focuses on a figure.
