The 48 survivors of a plane crash can save themselves on an uninhabited island in the middle of the South Pacific. People of different origins have to deal with each other, and then the little land seems to have a scary secret.

Lost begins with a tragic plane crash in the South Pacific, where there are many Dead and injured. The doctor Jack shepherd is the center and leader of a disoriented group of people on the desert island. After the survivors wait a long time for RESCUE, Most of them find themselves away with the fact that rescue on the exotic island in the middle of nothing is not imminent. There are strange raids on the group, which turns out over time as attacks by another group of people, the ‘others’. The’ others ‘ in Lost have long been living as an organized, sectarian-like group on the island.

In addition to the current plot on the island, Lost repeatedly shows in retrospect the lives of the survivors before they climbed the plane. Often, an episode focuses on a figure. John Locke (Terry O’quinn) believes in the island and sees the plane crash as destiny, he must face now. He can run again since the crash, even though he was previously in a wheelchair. He wants to know the meaning of the island.

Sayid Jarrah (Naveen Andrews) is a former Iraqi intelligence officer who tortured people on behalf of the government. Although he has now departed from this path, he stopped in Australia to infiltrate a terrorist unit for the CIA. He is one of the leaders against the “Others” on the island.

Hurley Reyes (Jorge García) is an overweight, friendly, relaxed buddy-figure. He has a special affinity to pay.

Charlie Pace (Dominic Monaghan) used to be a rock star, then became a heroin addict and lost everything. On the island, he is particularly fond of Claire and falls in love with her.

Karl Martin (Blake Bashoff) is about 20 years old, lives with the others, but has been rebelling against them for some time. He is with Alex, which is why she rebelled against the others.

What was initially created as four seasons has now expanded to six seasons? Lost is said to end with the sixth season finale. The 121st episode will be the last and will be sent on May 2010.

In the first season, Lost was successful at the Emmy, the most important Television Award in the US, with twelve nominations and six awards (Best Drama Series award. The second season received nine nominations without Awards. In the third season, there were six nominations, only Terry O’quinn received a prize as the Best Supporting Actor. Lost won eight nominations at the 2008 Emmy Award and won the prize once.

Lost was nominated for the Golden Globe Award six times between 2005 and 2007. Three times in the category Best Dramatic TV series, winning the prize in 2006. The three other nominations received Matthew Fox, Naveen Andrews, Evangeline Lilly for their roles in the series.
